Nancy is a new member of the Harlequin family. After writing and submitting to Harlequin for several years, she got her big break when she won Harlequin’s 2000 Summer Blaze contest as part of an author search for the new, hot Blaze line. When Nancy got "the call," it wasn’t just for one book, but three books in three different lines – Harlequin Temptation, Duets, and Blaze.|
After she got up off the floor and recovered from shock, Nancy got to work, doing what she loves: writing fun, humorous, steamy romances. Ah, what a life.
Nancy has an honors degree in English literature and has had previous careers in journalism and public relations. She’s written on subjects ranging from pollution in Lake Superior to spruce bud worm in the British Columbia forestry industry to fish fact sheets. Small wonder she turned to romance writing!
She’s happily married to Rick and the proud mother of two wonderful, talented children and an overweight Keeshound dog who lives for cookies and really hates walks.
Nancy’s great loves, apart from her family, are Jane Austen novels, old movies, Swiss chocolate, and men who believe in feminism, but still hold doors open for women.
